SUMMARY

Systems Support Technician is responsible for installation and maintenance of the companys computer telecommunications equipment and wiring. Travel is required up to four days a week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Install maintain upgrade and configure personal computer workstation hardware network server hardware printers and modems.
• Coordinate installation maintenance configuration and upgrades for telecommunications systems and equipment for stores and Support Center
• Coordinate installation and maintenance of voice and data network wiring related equipment including hubs switches routers CSUs and firewalls
• Coordinate installation configuration and maintenance of Kronos time clocks.
• Install and configure user workstation operating system software operating system upgrades and patches as needed.
• Work with many companys WAN and ISP vendors to monitor and maintain the reliability and availability of the companys wide-area-network and Internet access.
• Assist the Retail Systems Analyst in installing maintaining and upgrading store POS system hardware software and wiring.
• Coordinate and schedule work performed by third-party vendors involving voice and data wiring telecommunications systems installation configuration and training.
• Purchase equipment and supplies as needed for projects and ongoing maintenance needs.
• Other tasks and duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Company vehicle provided during work hours - travel is required up to four days a week
