Responsibilities

• Plan gather and produce stories for day-of news coverage and special project assignments
• Collaborate with news managers and producers to develop stories that go beyond the surface spotlight distinctive enterprise angles and deliver exclusive content
• Consistently contribute updated information video photos and other elements to multiple platforms throughout the day
• Embrace new technology and adapt to evolving demands to stay relevant in a rapidly shifting multi-media environment
• Build and maintain a strong network of sources who provide tips and early access to information enabling you to break impactful stories
• Manage multiple stories and projects simultaneously meeting all deadlines under pressure
• Demonstrate unwavering journalistic integrity and the highest ethical standards

Requirements

• Professional reporting experience
• Commitment to enterprise and data-driven reporting
• Demo reel that is indicative of everyday work
• Ability to write clear correct compelling copy tied directly to video
• Can work in all weather conditions
• Have a valid drivers license and a clear driving record
• Work varied shifts including overnights and weekends
• In person attendance required
• Can deal with the stresses and pressures of time-sensitive newscast and digital production
• Related military experience will be considered

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $114000 and $135000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors such as transferable skills work experience business needs market demands and conditions including geographic location where the work will be performed and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
