Job Summary

Position: Network Voice engineer

Location: Jersey City NJ

Job Type: Contract

Required Skills:

L3 production support for Cisco Unified Communications:
- CUCM (call control dial plan device/user provisioning SIP trunks)
- CUC (voicemail mailbox/user issues call routing to voicemail)
- UCCX (contact center call flows agent/login issues basic script/call flow troubleshooting)
Troubleshoot call routing issues DTMF problems codec negotiation one-way audio intermittent call drops PSTN reachability and endpoint/device registration issues.
Perform operational changes: dial plan updates route patterns partitions/CSS translation patterns device pools voicemail configurations (as applicable).
Drive Incident/Problem/Change lifecycle and provide RCA for major incidents.
Collaborate with Vendor for end-to-end call flow troubleshooting.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with CUCM CUC and UCCX support.
Solid understanding of SIP/RTP voice routing/dial plans and troubleshooting using logs/traces.
