Network System Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role involves leading and managing projects related to infrastructure provisioning security initiatives data center migrations and End of Life Programs. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced enterprise environment building trusted relationships with business and technology teams while communicating technical details and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects related to infrastructure provisioning security projects data center migrations and End of Life Programs
• Lead meetings and communicate technical details related to projects
• Work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
• Build trusted relationships with the business and technology teams
• Analyze and communicate capacity management related tasks
• Communicate standards and best practices to Lines of Businesses
• Work with System Administrator teams to help ensure server standards are being met
• Coordinate Linux virtual and physical builds upgrades patching and support

Requirements:

• 5 years of work experience including 3 years in Technical Project Management roles
• Strong background in networks storage hardware and data centers
• Experience in supporting large enterprises
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (physical server hosting virtual machine hosting storage network database middleware network traffic management Network DMZ)
• Experience with Jira software
• Background in cloud virtualization and bare metal environments
• Understand technical concepts like DNS Active Directory NAS Firewall Proxy and SMTP
• Background in clustering disaster recovery and high availability
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Desired skills:

• System Administrator background
• Strong Linux background
• Scrum background
• Presentation reporting Visio Excel and PowerPoint skills

Pay range: $53.52 - $61.52 per hour
