Network System Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Messaging and Collaboration Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte NC Plano TX or Pennington NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the enterprise Messaging and Collaboration infrastructure with a focus on client support in a large-scale multi-site and multi-domain environment. The position will manage applications such as Outlook SharePoint WebEx and Instant Messaging (Lync/Skype) and handle the integration of email with mobile devices and other unified communication technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Messaging and Collaboration user accounts including creating user IDs processing name changes and moves maintaining group lists and removing terminated user IDs in adherence to regulatory requirements
• Assume a leadership role in resolving complex technical issues (SME)
• Consult with application developers on issues related to the impact of applications
• Coordinate with application developers and project managers to deploy worldwide enterprise solutions/applications including testing and documentation
• Provide technical expertise to internal IT groups and offer feedback and recommendations for service level and environment optimization
• Protect the security of the messaging environment through administration of access control lists and security measures
• Provide training to users junior technicians and other IT personnel

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and PowerShell
• Proficiency with Outlook MS-365 SharePoint administration WebEx Skype and MS Teams
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
• Experience with OneDrive
• Knowledge of current Windows operating systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on providing quality customer service
• Ability to work with minimal direction and manage multiple tasks

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour
