Network Cabling & Low Voltage Technician

Youll join our Network Technical Services team to install maintain and troubleshoot low-voltage and data cabling systems at client sites across the region. Every job is different and we need someone who can read a situation find the right solution and execute it cleanly.

What Youll Do

• Pull route terminate and test CAT6/CAT6A copper and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode) cable in new and existing buildings
• Install and dress copper patch panels; label and test all connections
• Install cable support structures: racks J-hooks and related hardware
• Mount and connect security cameras wireless access points and other low-voltage equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose voice and data line issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
• Keep job sites clean organized and hazard-free
• Keep company vehicles clean and organized

Qualifications :

• 4 years of hands-on data infrastructure experience
• Working knowledge of BICSI standards and OSHA requirements
• Experience with fiber terminations copper patch panels and cable testing equipment
• Familiarity with IP and analog video cabling
• Comfort with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted work at heights and perform physical tasks including climbing kneeling and crawling
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Prior construction site experience is a plus
