Requirements for Network Architect

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum **15 years** of progressive enterprise networking experience

• Extensive experience serving as a Network Architect or Senior Network Engineer in large enterprise environments

• Proven experience designing enterprise and hybrid cloud networking architectures

• Deep expertise designing highly available enterprise networking infrastructures

• Extensive experience architecting large-scale routing environments

• Experience leading enterprise network modernization and consolidation initiatives

• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and network segmentation

• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments

Position Summary & Overview

The Network Architect is responsible for the overall design architecture governance and technical leadership of enterprise networking environments supporting both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

This role serves as the organizations networking subject matter expert responsible for developing secure scalable and highly available networking solutions across Azure AWS hybrid cloud and enterprise data center environments.

You will provide architectural leadership for enterprise routing cloud networking SD-WAN firewalls carrier connectivity network consolidation initiatives and business continuity planning while partnering closely with infrastructure cybersecurity cloud engineering and business stakeholders.

This position also serves as the highest level of technical escalation for complex networking issues while mentoring engineering teams and establishing enterprise networking standards and best practices.
