rockITdata is seeking a Network & Computer Systems Admin to join our team. This role will provide onsite technical support and assistance by deploying to field offices of a large federal program. The position is onsite at Fort Shafter.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct network performance evaluations
Ensuringthe reliability and security of critical IT infrastructure
System monitoring
Patch management
Performance tuning and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT Computer Science or related field
8 years of experience in systems administration for Windows Linux or VMware environments
Excellent knowledge of relevant operating systems (e.g. Windows Server Red Hat CentOS) and virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware vSphere ESXi).
Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Bash Python) and experienced with system monitoring patch management and performance tuning.
Excellent troubleshooting problem-solving communication and teamwork skills the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and maintains currency with industry trends and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server RHCSA RHCE VMware Certified Professional - VCP)
Familiar with Government ITenvironment regulatory requirements data security best practices and policies
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
