Global Fund Services is seeking a Mutual Funds Specialist to join our Contact Center this role youll support shareholders institutional clients and broker/dealers by providing accurate information processing mutual fund transactions and delivering an exceptional client experience.

This position is ideal for individuals who have a background in the investment industryor education in financial marketsand who enjoy helping investors understand their accounts and the products they hold.


What Youll Do

  • Process a wide range of mutual fund transactions including new account setups purchases redemptions exchanges and account maintenancewhile meeting accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Respond to inbound calls from shareholders institutional clients and broker/dealers providing clear guidance on account activity and mutual fundrelated questions.
  • Analyze and correct transactions including trade cancellations account updates and pricingrelated adjustments.
  • Support conversion and liquidation activities ensuring data accuracy throughout each process.
  • Research and resolve shareholder requests in accordance with SEC STA and internal policy requirements.
  • Explain investment concepts to callers including:
    • What mutual funds are and why investors may choose them
    • How mutual fund performance is evaluated
    • Portfolio holdings and how they relate to a funds objectives
    • The differences among IRA types and how they function

Schedule & Location

  • Hours: MondayFriday rotating schedule between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM (CT)
  • Location: Milwaukee WI (Lewis Center) Onsite training followed by a minimum of three days per week onsite

What You Bring

Were especially interested in candidates who can combine strong clientservice skills with foundational investment knowledge.


  • Associate or bachelors degree in business or a related field or relevant work experience
  • Minimum two years of related work experience such as accounting/financial transactions and customer service

Strongly Preferred

  • Prior experience in the investment industry or education related to financial markets
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Mutual funds and their purpose as an investment vehicle
    • IRA account types and how they differ
    • Mutual fund performance portfolio holdings and fund objectives
  • Ability to explain how a funds structure and strategy relate to the shareholders investment
  • Functional understanding of the roles of portfolio managers and investment advisors and how to interact professionally with both
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
  • Solid math and computer skills

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.


This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week following the fully onsite training period.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the addition to salary U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package including incentive and recognition programs equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $22.50 - $30.00
