ASML is the worlds leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry manufacturing complex machines critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. ASMLs corporate headquarters is in Veldhoven the Netherlands. The company has lithography research development and manufacturing operations in Wilton Connecticut and in Veldhoven the Netherlands. Technology development centers and training and application facilities are located in Asia Europe and the United States. The Manufacturing Operations in Wilton Connecticut is responsible for the production of lithography tools as well as purchasing and logistics. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within Manufacturing.

This position is based in Production Engineering Group within the manufacturing sector in Wilton Connecticut.

Will require some work in a clean room in full bunny suit 40%

Potential to work closely with strong magnets

To realize World Class support to Manufacturing in order to ensure highest product quality short lead-times and short time-to-market by continuous improvement of ASMLs new and existing products and processes.

This position will entail working with other Production Engineers and Technicians to support the production of the Wafer Stage Chuck (Wafer Table)

Other duties and tasks will include;

• BOM structure checks and component evaluations working and with D&E
• Define and create Manufacturing procedures and specifications.
• Introduce new products into production in an existing Concurrent Engineering environment.
• Create and design production tooling & qualification test.
• Generate technical work instructions and Test plans.
• Support production issues with concise troubleshooting of the Electro-Mechanical systems and sub systems.
• Evaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed solutions.
• Review Failure Analysis Reports from suppliers and help validate the root-cause of the failure.

• Learn to analyze metrology flatness data and run metrology equipment

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Mechatronics or BS in Optical Engineering
• 3 years in an Engineering environment.
• Experience with precision mechanics a plus
• Working knowledge of Unigraphics and SAP a plus.
• Experience with CMM equipment a plus

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

Pay scales are determined by role level location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to job-related skills relevant education and experience certifications abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
