Job Summary

As a Mobile Equipment Mechanic you will be responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of mobile equipment which includes forklifts scissor lifts boom lifts front-end loaders skid steers and tractor trailers. The successful candidate must be able to work safely indoors and occasionally outdoors.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that mobile equipment continues to run smoothly
• Troubleshoot adjust and repair of mobile equipment
• Maintenance of special purpose machines
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Determine how to correct issues utilizing schematics repair manuals or parts catalogs
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair grease cut change parts and complete tasks as assigned
• Inspect motors and belts check fluid levels replace filters or perform other maintenance actions utilizing PM checklists
• Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists hand tools and power tools
• Basic knowledge and troubleshooting related to electrical hydraulics pneumatic and mechanical systems
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed

• Physical requirements include lifting to 65 lbs. extended standing walking sitting bending working indoors and outdoors
• Able to perform job tasks in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to function occasionally in a team environment with a proven track record of contributing toward team goals
• Ability to operate mobile equipment as necessary
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education training certification and experience
• OSHA-10 certification a plus but certification can be provided
• At least two years of mobile equipment maintenance experience working in a manufacturing environment

• The hourly pay is $28-$30 based on experience
