Job Summary

Mobile HVAC Service Technician

Were looking for an experienced Mobile HVAC Service Technician who knows how to diagnose problems make repairs and keep commercial facilities operating at their best. This is a hands-on role supporting multiple commercial properties within an assigned territory so every day can bring a new challenge.

What Youll Do
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial HVAC systems including packaged units air handlers chillers boilers and related equipment

  • Troubleshoot electrical plumbing building automation and fire/life safety systems

  • Complete work orders using CMMS technology with minimal supervision

  • Travel between multiple commercial properties using a company vehicle

  • Plan and prioritize your daily workload across multiple locations

  • Perform facility inspections and identify issues that could impact building operations

  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reduce energy costs

  • Communicate directly with property management and facility teams

  • Handle building repairs interior/exterior maintenance grounds and parking lot systems as needed

  • Maintain and troubleshoot facility production equipment

  • Stay current on building systems equipment controls and new technology

  • Participate in on-call emergency response and overtime when needed

What Were Looking For
  • 4 years of commercial building engineering or facilities experience

  • Strong commercial HVAC experience with electrical and plumbing knowledge

  • Universal EPA/CFC certification required

  • High school diploma or GED; technical/trade school training preferred

  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record

  • Strong understanding of MEP/HVAC systems and applications

  • Experience with building automation systems and CMMS preferred

  • Military HVAC experience may substitute for one year of commercial experience

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities

  • Professional communication and customer service skills

  • Strong knowledge of hand tools power tools electrical meters and diagnostic equipment

Physical Requirements

This is an active hands-on position. You must be able to:

  • Lift up to 80 lbs

  • Climb ladders while carrying a tool bag weighing up to 20 lbs

  • Work at heights up to 30 feet using appropriate safety equipment

  • Frequently climb bend kneel lift reach and work overhead

  • Work in hot cold and other challenging environmental conditions

  • Drive for extended periods between commercial locations
