Mine Operations Lead Operator

Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to have an experienced operator who can help fill the role as supervisor when needed. Someone who promotes safety strives to lead people and understands how to make decisions under pressure. A person that can execute mine plans while ensuring all Haile and Companys HSE Policies/ procedures are being followed.
Will report to work at 0500/1700 hrs. for shift.
Will report to Senior/Assistant to ensure mine plan is understood.
Will oversee hot change and ensure a smooth transition to and from pits.
Will observe shift change to ensure last loads and correct park up times and locations are met.
Will assist with support fleet to ensure dumps and projects are completed to standard including haul road improvements.
Will help oversee production units/cycle times/and Que/Hang times throughout shift.
Will check daily for field control on all dumps
Will be responsible for dump areas and haul roads to ensure design RL correct berm height correct procedures are followed to mine plan.
Oversee support equipment is utilized efficient.
Will be responsible for all traffic management/light plants/restrooms.
Will report any issues or concerns to the Senior or Assistant supervisor immediately.
Will fill in as operator if crew numbers are short or extra projects are needed.
Will feel in for assistant supervisor and should know all the assistant supervisor roles and responsibilities listed above.
Qualifications :
Previous Leadership experience preferred
Safety background and knowledge of MHSA regulations
Must possess the ability to apply common sense or logic to a problem-solving solution
High school Diploma or GED
Willing to do what is needed for the success of the mine operations department
Background in the operation mining equipment
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand sit demonstrate manual dexterity climb stairs talk hear and see.
Must be able to work shift work with 12-hour shifts. May need to work overtime to make sure that pumping requirements are met.
Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.
Work is in a surface mine setting which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.
Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment including hart hat hearing protection safety glasses safety footwear and as needed respirator rubber steel-toe boots protective clothing gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
