Our client a family-owned community bank is seeking a Divisional President / Chief Credit Officer to lead its Midwest Division. The Divisional President / Chief Credit Officer will provide strategic operational and credit leadership across our clients Midwest Division. This executive will establish sales and revenue growth initiatives hold branch leadership accountable for results and develop teams to achieve loan and deposit goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
The role combines business development leadership with oversight of credit quality lending practices and regulatory compliance.
- Provide strategic leadership and supervision to branch management supporting staff growth and development.
- Implement sales and revenue growth strategies and hold branch leaders accountable for loan and deposit goals.
- Ensure operational practices comply with bank policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Serve as a member of executive management contributing to strategic planning regional budgets and business goals.
- Oversee and review lending activities to ensure loans and loan agreements are complete accurate and consistent with policy and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong credit quality through sound credit risk assessment loan documentation and ongoing loan management.
- Lead business development efforts by setting objectives coaching teams and recognizing results.
- Participate on the loan committee and approve loans within designated lending authority.
- Represent the organization through community involvement and relationship building.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in finance business administration or a related field required.
- 10 years of banking experience preferred.
- 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
- Proven sales management experience with a record of achieving results.
