**Job Title: Middleware System Administrator/DevOps Engineer** **Terms:** 1 Year Contract **Work Schedule:** Remote with low colocation/travel to Des Moines IA monthly ** Skills (6-7 years experience):** - JBoss EAP 7/8.x - Azure DevOps - JBoss standalone and domain mode administration - JBoss clustering and failover - Azure DevOps CI/CD setup and administration - Azure Repos branching strategies pull and branch policies - Azure Pipelines for build test deployment and release automation - Azure Artifacts and artifact version management - Environment approvals gates and release controls - modjk and modcluster configurations - Application deployment using GUI and CLI - Datasource JVM and server configuration management --- **Job Title: DBA** **Terms:** 6 Month Contract **Work Schedule:** Hybrid - Des Moines IA (please prioritize local candidates) ** Skills:** - Minimum of 4 years of strong and relevant experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator specifically for large scale applications. - Extensive experience with AWS RDS Postgres including setup configuration and management. - Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture configuration and administration. - Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience developing and reviewing complex PL/pgSQL functions procedures and other database objects. - Extensive experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming. - Familiarity with database security best practices. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility in working hours to support global teams and critical database operations. - Must have experience in production system monitoring and incident management processes. - Must provide after-hours on-call support. - Experience in designing database schemas access patterns and locking strategies. - Experience in conducting performance analysis and capacity planning. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Bitbucket Bamboo Github Jenkins). --- **Job Title: Tester** **Terms:** 6 Month Contract **Work Schedule:** Hybrid - Des Moines IA (please prioritize local candidates) ** Skills:** - Demonstrated ability to review and interpret functional specifications system and other design documentation. - Proficient across testing phases including test planning execution and closure and experienced in multiple testing types such as integration testing system testing and user acceptance testing. - Demonstrated experience testing batch processes including benefit issuance interfaces (flat files and SOAP UI) data conversion reports notices and security roles. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test case creation test execution defect creation and traceability. **Preferred Skills:** - Ability to write and modify SQL queries to support test scenarios and database validation. - Knowledge with back-end validations and comparing data from legacy and modernized systems. - Hands-on experience testing Health and Human Services (HHS) systems with a strong focus on Integrated Eligibility (IE) rules testing across public assistance programs including Cash Assistance (TANF) and Food Assistance (SNAP). - Prior experience with Benefits issuance and eligibility determinations.
