Position Description:
We are seeking a part-timeIN-PERSON Middle School Math Tutor to provide group tutoring instructionduring school day hours. FLEXIBLE DAYS AND HOURS

Type: Part-time
Schedule:Flexible; We are looking for MATH tutors who can support small group tutoring between 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM EDT Monday through Friday. You DO NOT have to be available all 6 hours or all days. YOU WOULD BE PROVIDING TUTORING IN LOCAL SCHOOLS.

• What youll do:
• Provide small-group tutoring forinstruction in middle school math in a virtual setting
• Use creative approaches to make the subject engaging and relevant
• Maintainaccurate documentation of studentssessionsand progress
• Communicate with parents regularly and the students teacher as needed
• Adjust instruction techniques to accommodate students with learning differences
• Meet students where they are build on what they already know and help them move forward by developing the academic skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Your qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2years of teaching or tutoring experience with middle school-aged students (excluding student teaching)
2. Bachelors degree required
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching approaches based on student engagement need and skill level
5. Ability to manage student(s) in a small (4) group setting
