As aResidential Shift Supervisor youll lead Direct Care Staff during your assigned shift and help ensure individuals receive exceptional care support and opportunities to maximize their independence.

Youll play a critical role in supporting both residents and staff by coordinating daily activities maintaining quality standards and fostering a positive team-oriented environment.

• Supervise and guide Direct Care Staff during assigned shifts
• Assign staff responsibilities and daily activities based on individual needs and program requirements
• Adjust schedules and assignments to ensure appropriate coverage and quality care
• Mentor staff and promote a positive professional work environment
• Maintain attendance performance training and personnel records

• Help ensure high-quality care and therapeutic interactions
• Encourage independence in daily living activities recreation and community involvement
• Promote dignity respect and person-centered supports

• Ensure cleanliness organization and safety throughout the residence
• Conduct and document fire drills and evacuation procedures
• Assist with implementing agency policies and regulatory requirements
• Support a culture of safety accountability and excellence

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of experience supporting children or adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities
• Valid New York State Drivers License 1 year licensed driving experience
