As a Mid-Level Radar Engineer/Analyst your duties will include the following but are not limited to:
- Common tasks for this position include analysis tool design and development and complex analysis on radar system and/or algorithm performance.
- Provide expertise on various aspects of critical radar functions including acquisition scheduling tracking discrimination advanced functions and system-level interactions.
- Investigate issues perform root cause analysis and develop creative solutions to complex technical problems.
- Support a broad range of projects including performance analysis modeling & simulation (M&S) post-flight reconstruction and integration and risk reduction efforts.
- Interact with external customers and stakeholders within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) program offices and radar development prime contractors.
Job Requirements:
- US Citizenship.
- Minimum of a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering Physics Math or Computer Science from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience with sensor and/or system-level data analysis.
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis data visualization signal and data processing electromagnetics and/or system engineering using MATLAB Python and/or similar tools.
- Ability to develop and/or contribute to reports and briefings that explain complex radar behaviors effectively to a broad range of audiences.
- Experience developing and/or improving complex analysis tools using MATLAB.
- Experience in radar analysis radar systems engineering and/or radar test and evaluation.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple efforts.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Must have an active secret clearance.
Candidates with the following experience are preferred:
- Experience with AN/TPY-2 TM.
- Experience with radar signal detection/injection HWIL systems.
- Experience in C C and Ada programming Linux/Unix operating systems Microsoft Office.
