Mid-Level Radar EngineerAnalyst

i3 is seeking a Mid-Level Radar Engineer/Analyst to join a well-established team in an AVMC lab that supports the development test and fielding of missile defense radar systems.

• Common tasks for this position include analysis tool design and development and complex analysis on radar system and/or algorithm performance.
• Provide expertise on various aspects of critical radar functions including acquisition scheduling tracking discrimination advanced functions and system-level interactions.
• Investigate issues perform root cause analysis and develop creative solutions to complex technical problems.
• Support a broad range of projects including performance analysis modeling & simulation (M&S) post-flight reconstruction and integration and risk reduction efforts.
• Interact with external customers and stakeholders within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) program offices and radar development prime contractors.

• US Citizenship.
• Minimum of a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering Physics Math or Computer Science from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience with sensor and/or system-level data analysis.
• Proficient in data manipulation and analysis data visualization signal and data processing electromagnetics and/or system engineering using MATLAB Python and/or similar tools.
• Ability to develop and/or contribute to reports and briefings that explain complex radar behaviors effectively to a broad range of audiences.
• Experience developing and/or improving complex analysis tools using MATLAB.
• Experience in radar analysis radar systems engineering and/or radar test and evaluation.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple efforts.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must have an active secret clearance.

Preferred:

• Experience with AN/TPY-2 TM.
• Experience with radar signal detection/injection HWIL systems.
• Experience in C C and Ada programming Linux/Unix operating systems Microsoft Office.

• Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday however additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
