Position Overview
Ennoble First is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support an Intelligence Community customer in Gaithersburg Maryland. This hands-on role supports the design implementation and maintenance of secure development and deployment pipelines for mission-critical GEOINT systems.
The DevSecOps Engineer will integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle while supporting CI/CD automation containerized applications and cloud infrastructure within classified and unclassified environments. This position works closely with software engineers security teams and systems administrators to enable secure reliable and rapidly deployable mission capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines supporting microservices and container-based deployments.
- Build maintain and troubleshoot automated GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
- Deploy manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS).
- Integrate AWS CDK GitLab Docker and ECS to support automated application deployments.
- Support containerized environments using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Manage and monitor infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Support secure provisioning configuration and monitoring of AWS Azure or similar cloud environments.
- Integrate security tools and best practices into development workflows including static and dynamic code analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to harden environments and secure cloud-native architectures.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving builds deployments pipelines and system performance.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support compliance activities aligned with RMF DISA STIGs and related security frameworks.
- Document configurations and contribute to continuous improvement of DevSecOps processes and tooling.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline with 48 years of relevant experience or Masters degree with 26 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience building maintaining and troubleshooting automated GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform CloudFormation or similar tools.
- Experience working within AWS Azure or similar cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
- Experience deploying managing and troubleshooting containerized applications using AWS ECS.
- Experience integrating AWS CDK GitLab Docker and ECS for automated deployments.
- Experience with Kubernetes OpenShift or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Working knowledge of secure coding practices vulnerability management and code-scanning tools.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar AWS certification.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- CompTIA Security.
- GIAC certification.
