Mid-level Data Scientist with Palantir Foundry Active Secret

Peraton is looking for a Mid-level Data Scientist to work with the United States Transportation Commands Human Capital Strategy & Analytics Branch (TCJ1-RD) to enhance develop and maintain a sustainable data strategy management and analytics program.

Location: Scott AFB Illinois

In this role you will:

• Apply your knowledge and experience to transform data into actionable information to inform strategic human capital management enhance labor market analysis for civilian recruitment improve professional development and skill alignment and develop initiatives focused on retaining top talent.
• Deliver data-driven decisional products that support active-duty Guard and Reserve military members and civilian employees.
• Develop and maintain a robust data foundation to ensure the availability of on-demand analysis-ready human capital data.
• Analyze data to identify trends and relationships.
• Map and analyze data across secure and non-classified defense networks.
• Continuously improve existing tools making them faster more effective accurate and efficient.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among users subject matter experts and leadership.
• Provide insight and expertise to the team when developing processes to manage the lifecycle of data science tools.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technology trends.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a Masters and 3 years or PhD.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Experience creating dashboards and business intelligence and/or data science tools.
• Demonstrated collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
