Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

  • Lead cross-functional program teams to successfully deliver product launches and production programs ensuring achievement of timing quality cost and business objectives.
  • Develop program plans define team responsibilities allocate resources and track progress against key milestones and performance targets.
  • Manage customer expectations while providing regular program status updates maintaining effective stakeholder communication and leading program review meetings.
  • Identify assess and mitigate program risks using structured project management and quality tools including FMEA lessons learned and corrective action processes.
  • Partner with Production Quality Engineering Purchasing Finance and suppliers to ensure flawless program execution from development through launch and series production.
  • Manage program budgets capital expenditures tooling equipment suppliers and change management activities to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements company policies customer specifications audit requirements and continuous improvement standards including 5S and operational excellence initiatives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • 4-year Bachelors Degree or equivalency in an Engineering discipline

WORK EXPERIENCE/ TECHNICAL TRAINING:

  • Five plus years prior managerial experience with the Automotive Stamping Industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of principles theories and practices of Project Management.
  • Strong stamping tooling development knowledge from planning to launching.
  • Strong skills in equipment planning and installation for assembly equipment.
  • Knowledge regarding quality expectations planning and implementation within new projects.
  • Strong skills regarding Automotive product launches.
  • Excellent product knowledge in Class-A and Class-C for the automotive industry.
  • Familiar with all quality related methods and tools such as but not limited to APQP FMEA etc.
  • Excellent customer relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong competency with working in teams or as individual unsupervised.

Pay range: $115000 - $140000 annual
