Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supports the production line from within the Fab with a primary focus on engaging in production activities in their assigned Workcells to reduce cycle time increase turn rates meet or exceed tool utilization and Idle with WIP targets and providing other technical leadership to the team. Engages in effective communication with Operators Supervisors and Process Technicians on a daily basis in the resolution of issues as needed. Provides leadership on the line by proactively identifying production issues within the assigned team communicates needs with Operators/peers and helps to effectively manage the lines to maximize efficiency and productivity. Interacts with Supervision to ensure line issues are proactively identified communicated and escalated to achieve timely resolution. Responsibilities may also include dispositioning and processing lots with Process Technician assistance as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Act as a back-up to the Supervisor in helping escalate critical tool sets
Assist Supervisor in production projects as assigned
Serve as a mentor to Operators
Assist in effectively managing DEFCON 3 and 4 tools
Assist in targeting 100% scheduler compliance troubleshoot issues & submit feedback when the expectation cannot be met
Maintain T3 certification
Assist operators with BARS and step level tracking issues
Troubleshoot equipment failures with appropriate training and support
Troubleshoot Data failures (SQCS)
Maintain tool certification to support Work cell coverage
Communicate with other Line Technicians Workflow Coordinators and Supervisors to maximize overall fab output and equipment utilization
Assist operators of the area to cover for breaks and lunches and absences
Disposition of hold lots
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR THE ROLE:
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Advanced knowledge of FPS/Scheduler
Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment
Thorough understanding of Operations Fab Performance report
Solid understanding of Broadcom systems
Seeks feedback gives feedback openly; utilizes Crucial Conversations
Additional Job Description:
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $21.60 - $26.00 per hour.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents.
