POSITIONTITLE: Process TechnicianDEPARTMENT: Mfg- IndirectMAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:This is a highly independent and responsible Process Technician will service injection-molding machines auxiliary and processing trouble shooting skills formold changes set-up and process JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Support and uphold the Viant Values: Customer Oriented IntegrityServantLeadership Own It Teamwork and Be employees with dignity and safety first. Ensure employees are workingsafelyand all safety measures and procedures are being met and good to read and understand -up start and processshoot injection-molding machinesin accordance withstandard all secondary equipment is set-up and running production problems andmake changes to cycles and job log during set-up and and repair allmalfunctionof equipment ortoolingto the proper support Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) on assigned all documentationpertaining toinjection molding machine set-up and tool cleaning / molds are cleaned/prepped and tagged/staged properly per standard teams with operating strong problem-solvingskills to troubleshoot molding machines and auxiliary root cause of machine necessary adjustments and tool or machine repair production times are and complete all paperwork associated with the set-up and adjustments of tooling machines and auxiliary compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing bestpracticeto other team members and to work offshiftand aptitudeAbility to multi-task and work in fast paced work as needed to fulfil production needs and customer duties as assignedneededto help drive our Vision Mission and be 18 years of through Apprenticeship Vocational Program or Technical College Molding Process Technician experience in Injection Molding Basic CNC Machining EDM Operation and Tool and Die Repair preferredExperience in medical molding operations androbotsa equipment knowledgeable with all equipmenttoolsand measuring instruments associated with measuring ofprocessing characteristics ofdifferent typesof materials (PET PP PVC etc.).Experience in cGMP 5S ISO13485 are troubleshooting and root cause with clean room operations and are rated on a scale of 0 (no knowledge) to 3 (subject matter expert with a total numberof68 are level 1 if points total 0-70 level 2 if points total 71-150 and level 3 if points total COMPETENCIESAbility to work independentlyAbility to work as a teamPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSHeavywork: Exerting up to100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to50 pounds of forcefrequentlyand/orExertingup to20 pounds of while working ACUITYTeam Member is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as; preparing and analyzing data and figures transcribing viewing a computer terminal extensive reading visual inspection involving small defects small parts and or operation or machines (including inspection) using measuring devices assembly or fabrication of parts at distance close to the CONDITIONSClean Room settingMaintenance SettingTeam Member is subject to inside environmental conditions: protections from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature Memberissubject to noise: there is sufficient noise to cause worker to shout outin order tobe heard above ambient noise Member is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanicalpartandmoving vehicles electrical current working on scaffolding and high places exposure to high heat or exposure to Member is subject to oils: There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
