Memory Care Experienced HHACNA

Cornerstone Caregiving is looking for committed dependable and experienced HHA/CNAs who have a genuine passion for caring for seniors particularly those living with Alzheimers disease and other forms of dementia.

We are looking for caregivers who understand that memory care requires more than completing daily tasks. You should be comfortable with behaviors such as confusion repetition agitation wandering resistance to care and changes in mood or behavior while remaining patient calm and compassionate.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of professional in-home caregiving experience
Previous hands-on experience caring for clients with Alzheimers and/or dementia
Valid in-person CPR certification
Must pass a Level 2 background screening with an Eligible result
HHA or CNA preferred
Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
Ability to communicate effectively with clients families and the Cornerstone team

Responsibilities may include:
Personal care and hygiene memory care and redirection transfers and mobility assistance meal preparation companionship medication reminders light housekeeping couples care safety supervision and other support based on each clients individual needs.
