Medium Duty Technician

We are seeking a dedicatedAutomotive Technicianwho is experienced withlight duty and medium duty diesel vehiclesto join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on efficiency minimal rework and a professional approach to all aspects of their work. If you are a skilled diesel technician looking to flag as many hours as possible in a positive work environment we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues with a focus on light duty and medium duty diesel engines.
• Perform a wide range of automotive repairs and services with a focus on quality and efficiency. These may include engine and transmission replacements as well as repairs to electrical systems brakes steering and suspension systems and climate control systems.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
• Document work performed on all vehicles accurately

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as an automotive technician and/or a diesel technician specializing in light-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles.
• Certification from ASE completed manufacturer trainingor equivalent work experience.
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair methods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for up to 9 hours
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance
• Ability to work in confined spaces and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to bend kneel and squat and use either or both arms for reaching in all directions. High grip strength neck flexion and extension and cervical rotation.
