We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) / Medical Technologist (MT) to join a clinical laboratory team in King City CA. The successful candidate will perform a broad range of complex laboratory testing that supports physicians in the prevention diagnosis and treatment of disease.
This position requires strong technical laboratory skills attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. The CLS/MT will operate automated laboratory instrumentation perform specimen processing and analysis maintain quality control standards and ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory results.
- Perform complex clinical laboratory tests and analyses across applicable laboratory departments.
- Process prepare and analyze patient specimens according to established procedures.
- Operate monitor and troubleshoot automated laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Perform and document quality control testing in accordance with laboratory standards.
- Identify and resolve testing discrepancies instrument issues and quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Follow established laboratory procedures safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with physicians laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe laboratory work environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility in a variable schedule including rotating 12-hour shifts.
- Active California State Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license is required at the time of submission.
- Active ASCP or AMT certification required.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required.
- Clinical laboratory experience with complex analytical testing.
- Experience working with automated laboratory instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of laboratory quality control and specimen processing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical laboratory.
- Willingness to work variable schedules and rotating 12-hour shifts.
- 36 hours per week

Candidates must have an active California CLS license at the time of submission to be considered for this position.
