Medical Technologist Lab Technologist

Position Details:

• Position: Medical Technologist
• Location: Detroit MI
• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Hours: 40 Hours per Week
• Shift: Afternoon Shift (2:30 PM 11:00 PM)

Interview Process:

• Local candidates may be interviewed in person

Required Qualifications:

• Current BLS Certification
• Certification through a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
• Minimum 2 3 years of recent experience as a Medical Technologist or in a similar laboratory role
• Experience with Beckman Coulter instrumentation (AU system experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency
• Operate troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment
• Adhere to quality control procedures and laboratory safety standards
• Analyze and report test results in a timely manner

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support quality patient care
