SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Medical Office Associate is a patient-facing administrative role that will act as the first contact of the patient entering the facility and is responsible to the Office Manager for providing front office support. This position is an entry-level admin role where one can learn and grow their career in the healthcare field. The hired MOA will be expected to check patients in and out of appointments schedule patients for follow-up visits/testing collect patient co-pays and balances insurance verification monitoring the E-Message pool faxes and other asynchronous duties as assigned. The ideal Medical Office Associate for this office will be patient-focused with strong communication skills. Teamwork will play a big part in the success of this position as well as flexibility in handling various responsibilities.
