Working closely with clinical and operational leadership the Medical Director will support quality improvement provider development patient safety initiatives and practice growth while maintaining a strong commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered one of only a limited number of organizations nationally designated as both a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and FQHC Liberty Resources offers a unique opportunity to transform healthcare delivery for underserved communities within a highly collaborative and sustainable system of Medical Director will initially maintain a significant clinical practice while supporting administrative and leadership functions. As the practice continues to grow the balance of clinical and administrative responsibilities may and BenefitsBase salary starting at $325000 dependent on -based incentive opportunities.401(k) with employer -advantaged 457(b) retirement retirement options for eligible weeks of paid paid personal days and accrued sick CME time and development and continuing education -paid malpractice -paid licensure fees and professional for NHSC and PSLF loan repayment Practice Provide direct patient care in an outpatient primary care comprehensive medical services within your specialty including Family Medicine Internal Medicine or Med/ treat and manage acute and chronic medical preventive care annual wellness visits and health maintenance with behavioral health clinicians to provide integrated care for patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health in case conferences and interdisciplinary team care with specialists hospitals and community accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical in backup telephonic on-call clinical excellence and serve as a role model for evidence-based patient-centered Director Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and oversight for primary care a culture of excellence accountability teamwork and patient-centered provider recruitment onboarding mentoring and retention and support Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in clinical decision-making and professional quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical performance compliance with FQHC HRSA CCBHC state federal and accreditation in quality assurance incident management and patient safety medical chart reviews and support clinical documentation improvement and implement clinical policies protocols and evidence-based best with organizational leadership to advance strategic initiatives and practice in operational planning budgeting and resource allocation clinical input regarding healthcare technology electronic medical records and workflow provider meetings and facilitate effective communication among clinical provider performance management coaching and professional in the development of clinical education programs for APPs medical students residents and other and monitor quality productivity and patient satisfaction as a physician representative within the community and with healthcare partners hospitals and professional population health initiatives focused on prevention chronic disease management and health with leadership to identify and develop new programs services and care delivery or DO from an accredited medical Certified in Family Medicine Internal Medicine or Med/ and unrestricted New York State medical registration or ability to obtain prior to of five years of clinical primary care physician leadership experience preferred including provider supervision quality oversight or medical directorship working in integrated care environments understanding of quality improvement population health and value-based care serving Medicaid Medicare uninsured and underserved populations in an FQHC community health center or similar setting ability to lead change drive innovation and foster continuous communication collaboration and team-building to compassionate patient-centered care and health Resources is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
