With 15 health centers and a Mobile Health Center the organization is committed to delivering high-quality patient-centered care to diverse and underserved communities throughout the region.
The Position
Our client is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician to serve as Medical Director of Womens Health. This is a senior clinical leadership opportunity for an experienced physician who wants to combine direct patient care with oversight of a growing womens health program.
The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership to physicians advanced practice providers nursing staff and clinical support teams while helping establish standards of care improve quality outcomes and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional OB/GYN services across the organization.
Compensation and Benefits
- $350000 to $425000 depending on experience and leadership background

Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Previous medical leadership experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Strong understanding of quality improvement peer review clinical operations and patient safety
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care
- Experience within an FQHC community health center nonprofit or underserved setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Medical Director and clinical leader for the organizations OB/GYN and Womens Health services
- Provide oversight and clinical leadership to OB/GYN physicians advanced practice providers nursing staff and clinical support teams
- Maintain a clinical practice providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care
- Establish and maintain clinical standards protocols policies and best practices
- Oversee clinical quality patient safety and provider performance
- Lead and participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with provider recruitment onboarding mentorship and retention
- Provide clinical guidance and support to physicians and advanced practice providers
- Partner with executive and operational leadership on strategic planning and growth of Womens Health services
- Monitor clinical outcomes productivity access to care and patient satisfaction
- Support accreditation compliance and regulatory readiness
- Promote consistency of care across multiple health center locations
- Participate in the OB/GYN call rotation and provide hospital coverage as required
- Coordinate care and relationships with hospitals specialists and external healthcare partners
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
- Monday through Friday
- Clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- May rotate between multiple health centers within the network
