Medical Biller

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic team in Mason OH. This role offers a hybrid work environment providing the flexibility of working remotely on Mondays and Fridays with in-office collaboration on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays. • Review and transmit medical claims using the practices electronic health records (EHR) system and clearing house.
• Monitor and adjust rejected claim reports for resubmission to insurance carriers.
• Download and post claim payments and denials using insurance carrier explanation of payments (EOPs).
• Research and resubmit open balances within insurance carrier filing limits.
• Investigate denials and claim status through carrier websites and direct contact.
• Distribute patient billing statements and monitor the patient portal for payments.
• Initiate overpayment refunds and repayments when necessary.
• Serve as the primary contact for vision and medical claims.
• Support the corporate manager in maximizing claim collection rates.

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in medical billing and coding.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Effective communication skills (verbal written listening presentation).

• Experience working in multiple doctor practices.
• Experience with multiple insurance carriers and understanding of their claim requirements.
• Proven ability to identify issues and solve problems.
