The Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse will provide professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients.

• Room patients perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
• Coordinate provider schedules and appointment enter orders and prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
• Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards.
• Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.

Qualifications: BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program. (Can be obtained on the job).

Medical Assistant:Certified as a Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant through an approved accreditor preferred however can train on the job.

Licensed Practical Nurse:Graduation from an accredited school of practical Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.

Shift: Working 40 hours a week in the various areas in the clinic.
