Job Summary

• Monday through Friday / 40 hrs a week from 8AM to 5PM
• Occasional float as needed

Overview

The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training education and competency evaluations and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant (NP/PA) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Experience

• One year of clinical/administrative experience required
• Phlebotomy experience preferred

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Certification/Licensure

Certification must be received within (9) nine months of employment in one of the following certification programs:

• CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or
• CMA- Certified Medical Assistant or
• RMA- Registered Medical Assistant or
• EMT- Emergency Medical Technician

BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.31 - $29.92 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs.
