Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and medical evaluations
- Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and medical histories
- Conduct routine clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and EKGs
- Maintain medical records and handle patient inquiries
- Organize and maintain medical equipment and supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant program completion preferred
- Prior healthcare experience; MA certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology interpersonal skills and a compassionate detail-oriented approach
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business needs
