POSITION SUMMARY
Delta Health Center Inc. is seeking a creative and motivated Media Assistant to support multimedia production marketing
public relations and organizational communications. Working under the Director of Multimedia & Communications this
full-time position develops engaging content supports digital platforms and publications and assists with events while
maintaining professional brand standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create schedule and monitor social media content digital advertising and performance reports.
Design flyers brochures advertisements signage and other print and digital materials.
Capture and edit photography videos interviews and event coverage.
Assist with writing editing design and production of internal and external newsletters magazines and publications.
Support podcast planning recording editing distribution and promotional content.
Help maintain website content Google Business Profiles online listings and brand consistency.
Support health fairs grand openings community outreach and other events.
Contribute creative concepts and complete additional departmental projects as assigned.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in communications marketing digital media graphic design journalism public relations or a related
field; equivalent education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
Graphic design content creation multimedia editing professional social media management and digital/print marketing
experience required.
Experience creating newsletters publications or similar communication materials required.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Canva CapCut DaVinci Resolve or comparable creative tools.
Strong writing proofreading organizational communication and project management skills.
Photography videography podcast production publication design and paid advertising experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Mississippi Delta.
Availability for occasional evening and weekend events.
Ability to manage competing deadlines work independently and collaboratively and maintain professional standards.
