Are you passionate about transforming ideas into innovative products that make a real-world impact Hitachi Energy is looking for a skilled Mechanical Product Design Engineer to join a collaborative team focused on developing advanced technologies and high-performance this role you will lead mechanical design initiatives from concept through production helping bring innovative products to life while balancing performance reliability manufacturability and cost.

Youll work alongside talented engineering manufacturing and supply chain professionals in a dynamic environment that encourages creativity continuous improvement and technical excellence. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

• Lead the design and development of mechanical products subsystems and components from concept through production.
• Translate technical requirements into robust manufacturable and cost-effective mechanical solutions.
• Develop 3D models assemblies and detailed engineering drawings using advanced CAD tools.
• Perform engineering analyses including stress vibration thermal and performance evaluations.
• Plan and execute product verification validation prototyping and testing activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including electrical software manufacturing and supply chain experts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality performance and development processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation specifications reports and manufacturing instructions.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Proven expertise with 3D CAD design software such as SolidWorks CATIA or Creo.
• Experience with engineering analysis tools including FEA and/or CFD.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes materials selection and design for manufacturability principles.
• Excellent communication problem-solving and project management skills within multidisciplinary teams.
