Who are we looking for

We currently have an opportunity for a Drafting / Design student to join us as a Mechanical Process Drafter Intern! In this role you will provide CAD and BIM support on projects for Engineering Design. These projects could include municipal water treatment wastewater treatment pumping stations and other various process systems.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Effectively communicate with project team members via Microsoft Teams online or in person meetings or email
• Regularly review maintaining standards and model conformances with the design team.
• Routinely assists the project designers in design review meetings design kick-off meetings and coordination meetings.
• Assist with preparing project deliverables of design package.
• Assist with drawing updates revisions and devleopment.
• Performing project tasks like document scanning plotting site visits and as-built and record drawings with the mentorship of your supervisor

What you will bring to the team:

• Actively pursuing an Associates Degree in Drafting/Design Engineering Technology or similar field
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD is preferred; knowledge of Revit Plant3D and Civil3D is desired but not required
