Shift: Night Shift Sunday Friday 10:00 PM 6:00 AM (Sun - Thurs)

Are you a skilled mechanic driven by curiosity and problem-solving Avery Dennison is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our this role you will act as a primary technical resource driving equipment reliability operational safety and continuous improvement across our manufacturing facility.

What Youll Do:

• Troubleshoot diagnose and repair complex mechanical drive systems gear reducers bearings shaft alignments and process/utility equipment.

• Establish and execute mechanical inspection routes and preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to ensure plant uptime.

• Lead situational problem-solving to identify root causes and resolve high-level mechanical issues.

• Mentor and train shift maintenance technicians sharing technical knowledge to build team capability.

• Create and update technical documentation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Single Page Lessons and red-line schematic changes.

Qualifications :

What You Bring:

• Experience & Education: High School Diploma with 8 years of verifiable mechanical machine repair experience OR an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology / Journeyman Mechanical certification with 4 years of experience.

• Technical Skills: Strong expertise in mechanical drive trains bearing preloads gear sets drive alignment and working knowledge of AC/DC drives.

• Core Competencies: High attention to detail proactive curiosity for root-cause diagnosis agility in shifting priorities and a Team Before Self collaborative mindset.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

• Preferred: Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma ISO standards or maintenance management software.
