Mechanical HVAC Engineer (0-3 years)

We are seeking an energetic curious and self-motivated entry level to early career Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The mechanical engineering team that the successful applicant will be joining is focused on HVAC and building systems design. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who is excited to build their technical skills while contributing to meaningful and challenging projects.

As part of our collaborative multi-discipline team youll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on the planning and design of HVAC plumbing and mechanical systems. Youll gain hands-on experience with system design equipment selection specifications heating and cooling load calculations and construction documents while developing a strong foundation in consulting engineering.

Our mechanical team supports a diverse range of clients and projects including healthcare education local and federal government and commercial facilities.  Depending on project needs you may also gain exposure to commissioning energy modeling and projects designed for Alaskas unique climate.

Qualifications :

Requirements Include:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasis from an ABET-accredited program
• 03 years engineering experience
• Strong interest in HVAC plumbing and building mechanical systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently
• Ability to begin employment in Q1 2027

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passing score on FE Exam
• HVAC thermodynamics heat transfer or other building-systems-related coursework
• Experience with Revit or similar design software through coursework internships or professional experience
• Internship or professional experience in consulting engineering HVAC plumbing or building systems
• Exposure to Arctic or Subarctic design considerations

There are no relocation funds provided by the company for relocation to Anchorage Alaska where this position is located.
