We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director Engineering and is based in San Jose CA. This is a fully on-site in office role 5 days a week.

Core Technical Skills

• Advanced CAD proficiency: Mastery of CAD software SolidWorks
• 2D & 3D modeling: Ability to create detailed accurate technical drawings and models for engineering projects.
• Industry standards & codes: Knowledge of engineering or manufacturing standards.
• Software tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and file management systems(Enterprise PDM)

Experience & Education

• Education: Associates or technical degree in drafting engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience: 5 yearsin CAD design or related roles with specialized experience in the target industry (energy semiconductor medical)

Professional Skills

• Analytical & problem-solving: Ability to interpret complex specifications and translate them into accurate designs
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Project management: Experience managing design projects from concept to completion and meeting deadlines
• Attention to detail: Precision in drafting to ensure compliance with project requirements
