Job Summary

Design Hire is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical design and documentation for technical facility projects. This role is a strong fit for an early-career engineer with HVAC piping and equipment design exposure who wants to grow within a multi-discipline engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support mechanical design work for facility systems equipment layouts piping and related building infrastructure.
Develop and update drawings models calculations specifications and project documentation.
Coordinate with mechanical electrical structural and other project team members to support complete design packages.
Review field information markups submittals and project comments to help resolve design issues.
Assist with construction-phase support including document reviews design updates and technical coordination.


Qualifications

2 years of mechanical engineering experience preferred.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
Background with HVAC piping equipment or facility mechanical systems.
Experience supporting technology manufacturing industrial or technical facility projects preferred.
Revit or AutoCAD experience preferred.
Bluebeam experience is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret drawings specifications and technical documentation.
Strong communication organization technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
