Join a growing medical-device team developing and improving a precision electromechanical product. This is an onsite opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving real hardware problemsnot just modeling parts at a deskand wants visible ownership in a fast-moving collaborative environment.
Youll take designs and features from concept through production balancing new development with sustaining engineering hands-on troubleshooting and early commercial-stage support. Youll work closely with systems electrical quality regulatory operations and lab teams to improve product performance reliability manufacturability and testability.
What youll do:
Design and improve precision mechanical components assemblies and test fixtures using SolidWorks.
Perform failure analysis root-cause investigations tolerance stack-ups FEA and design-for-manufacturability assessments.
Develop and execute verification protocols; analyze results and produce clear technical reports.
Build test inspect and troubleshoot hardware in the lab using appropriate test and inspection equipment.
Support design changes prototype builds 3D printing and manufacturing transfer activities.
Contribute to risk assessments design reviews and engineering documentation within a regulated quality system.
What you bring:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
Approximately 5 years of product-development experience in medical devices.
Strong SolidWorks 3D modeling and drawing experience.
Hands-on experience with FEA tolerance analysis failure analysis DOE/statistics and Minitab.
Knowledge of injection molding DFM prototyping and precision mechanical systems.
Microfluidics test-fixture design hands-on verification testing injection molding design all are strong pluses.
SolidWorks PDM or another CAD/PDM systems
Experience designing test fixtures and working across mechanical electrical and systems disciplines.
A proactive coachable collaborative mindset and comfort owning work end to end.
Required Skills:
