Job Description

Our client is a full-service MEP consulting engineering firm providing mechanical electrical and plumbing design services for commercial educational municipal government retail office and data center projects throughout Virginia. They are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team and lead HVAC design efforts across multiple project types.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will provide engineering and consulting services throughout the project lifecycle serving as a technical lead on HVAC projects from conceptual design through construction administration and commissioning. This individual will manage projects coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

This is a Permanent Position with Hybrid opportunity.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 Years experience in Mechanical/HVAC engineering
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
  • Experience within K-12 commercial office retail municipal government and data center markets.
  • LEED accreditation is a plus.
  • Lead all aspects of HVAC mechanical engineering design including conceptual studies calculations equipment selection and system layouts.
