About this role:
The Mechanical Engineer role is responsible for leading both sustaining engineering efforts and new product development projects from concept through production. The position involves designing and developing mechanical components and systems creating detailed CAD models and drawings with proper GD&T supporting prototyping and testing and transitioning designs into manufacturable hardware. The engineer collaborates cross-functionally with electrical software manufacturing sales suppliers and customers to ensure design compatibility performance and cost objectives are met. Responsibilities also include reviewing engineering analyses supporting fixture design and test plans conducting root cause investigations for production or field issues contributing to continuous improvement initiatives preparing technical documentation and providing technical support for both new and legacy products while adhering to established release-to-production protocols
