Mechanical Engineer - Contract

DISHER is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support a 6-12 month project onsite with our customer in Muskegon MI.

What you will get to do:

Collaborate with test engineers to review clarify and document test incident reports. Investigate test failures to gather necessary background context and assist in refining the final reports for accuracy.
Mechanical system design and engine testing
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
Rootcause failure investigation
FEA interpretation and collaboration with analysts
Support Fuel system design under guidance of lead engineer
CAD modeling drafting and documentation
GTPower flow/system analysis
Onsite engineering support

What will make you successful:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering degree
1-5 years of Engineering experience (beginner to intermediate level)
Comfortable working in Excel
Creo/Pro-E3D modeling experience
Confidence with updating 3D drawings/releases
Experience with GD&T
PowerPoint presentations skills
Engine background preferred (not required)
