Mechanical Engineer Co-op Spring 2027

We are a mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP); building automation; and industrial piping contractor. Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation installation and specialty construction maintenance and air balancing start-up and energy efficiency services.

DeBra-Kuempel is seeking to fill a Mechanical Engineer Co-Op position in our Cincinnati Ohio location for the Spring 2027 semester. The Mechanical Engineer Co-Op position offers a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the Mechanical Engineering field. The Mechanical Engineer Co-Op will work with Mechanical Engineers to provide knowledge and consultation developing HVAC system solutions for the customers problems including financial and performance-based solutions. The projects will be wide ranged; including but not limited to: HVAC piping Industrial piping Plumbing Sheetmetal and Equipment replacements.

• Attending company meetings to discuss work in progress corporate issues budget plans business plans andmarketing plans on agreed-upon schedules.
• Assist Mechanical Engineers with engineering retrofit repair and replacement mechanical projects
• Assist Mechanical Engineers to determine client needs and develop an engineered solution.
• Follow up with project managers on the status of engineered work.
• Assist Service Technicians with job site problems.
• Assist Mechanical Engineers by relaying prospective solutions to clients.
