About the Opportunity

Award winning Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) Engineering Design firm based in Columbus OH is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for designing and engineering HVAC projects involving new builds and renovations in higher education healthcare military commercial and industrial facilities. Qualified candidates will have a good working knowledge of both REVIT and AutoCAD and can take schematic drawings through construction documents. This candidate will be working with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing Engineers on a daily basis. This person could have an architectural structural or MEP background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate BIM standards development implementation and enforcement on all related BIM projects files and models.
  • Provide end-user training support and leadership.
  • Manage software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases maintaining legacy software and customizing software for specific firm needs.
  • Creation and maintenance of the software template files to assure standards.
  • Conduct continuing education on BIM processes and its new technologies.
  • Support project standards coordination with customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Engineering / CAD Design. Would also consider Architectural Degree with REVIT experience
  • 2 years of REVIT drafting design experience. MUST be able to put a set of drawings together and model
