Mechanical Engineer

Location: Batesville AR (On-Site)

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support manufacturing operations utilities and maintenance functions within a complex industrial production environment. This position will play a key role in process improvements capital projects equipment reliability and engineering support activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background experience in manufacturing facilities and the ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating across departments.

• Provide engineering support to manufacturing utilities and maintenance operations.
• Identify develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Design and support mechanical process systems and equipment installations.
• Develop project scopes cost estimates and feasibility assessments.
• Manage capital improvement projects from concept through implementation.
• Evaluate and specify mechanical equipment including pumps piping systems heat exchangers centrifuges pressure relief devices and related industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support equipment reliability production efficiency and plant optimization efforts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve safety capacity product yield and operational performance.
• Assist with facility layouts equipment placement and occasional civil or structural design activities.
• Apply engineering and economic analysis principles to justify project investments.
• Maintain compliance with safety environmental and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and communicate project updates to stakeholders.

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with industrial process equipment and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of pumps piping systems pressure systems flow calculations and equipment design.
• Experience supporting capital projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Chemical manufacturing petrochemical specialty chemical refinery or other process manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting plant engineering maintenance utilities or production operations.
