Job Summary
Mechanical Design Engineer
Perform engineering valve design functions for the development of new products and for the modification of existing products.
Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree.
3-5 years of engineering experience.
Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks with an understanding of analytical tools such as ANSYS MATLAB and/or Mathcad
Experience with using geometric tolerance techniques and drafting to ensure proper alignment and stackups (ANSI Y14.5M-1994 is a plus)
Experience with designing fluid handling devices (valves pumps) is a plus

However individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business considerations local market conditions and internal equity as well as candidate qualifications such as skills education and experience.

- Design and develop prototype models and methods to validate design concepts.
- Collaborate with team members to validate designs and make recommended change
- Work closely with manufacturing quality assurance production vendors and contractors to support product design projects with feedback from Engineering Managers
